aha

In Journalism 2, I have learned the building of Mass Media. I learned many of the terms used for certain types of media. I found the way people take in media very fascinating. There are several ways to put out one’s message and even more ways to have the message lost or interpreted.
I got a lot from this class. I might not of learned the terms as well as I would of like. But I did learn first hand many of the means of media. For example, before this class I never had a blog. I thought it was for people who had way too much time on their hands. But now I know blogs are for many different types of people and can be very professional. I am also going to have a blog for all my articles for review. I also liked the usage of the internet for many of the tests. Those really showed how useful the internet can be and how to go about it. I also like many sites that we saw for networking in the journalism field. This can be helpful for when it’s time to find a job. I REALLY liked the site for bibliography help. Overall I like the class and got a lot out of it.

BLOG 10: Media Ethics/Law

Apple's won its copyright infringement claim against would-be Mac cloner Psystar in California. A company was making some products that were too similar to Apple's products. This is a good case. the only problem is if a company makes such a universal product, ex. a post-it not, can the company sue. It would be kind of hard not to copy certain products.

Week 9: Propaganda in Advertising/PR

I propose a campaign for birth control. It should give the messege of "if you're having sex regularly, don't just wear a condom. Take birth control." It can incude the places to receive free birth control givin by the government. It should be put the commericals on stations tarketed for teens, tweens, and maybe even early twentys women. It will help the overpopulation crisis and even the education rate, for there are many girls getting pregnate and dropping out. This campaign could even include celebraties and politicions. It could inprove their reputation and show the politicions views.

BLOG FOR Week 5: Movies or Recordings

My favorite movie of 2009 would have to be Up. I liked this movie because it was a very intertaining movie with a good message, and those are my favorite types of movies. I also thought it was very interesting that the first twenty minutes of the movie was a couple living their entire lives together starting from a young age.
My favorite Movie of all time is The Labyrinth. I love this movie just because i do. I have no other reason.
